Draw Safe / Deterministic drawing defense

Doodle Bastion

A complete premium sketchbook where one continuous line must intercept every visible route, stay outside the creature ring, and fit a clear ink budget.

iPhonePortrait

Core interaction

The player loop

Read one to three hazard routes, draw one anchored shield, test exact geometry, and refine the line after a specific failure reason.

World direction

A warm living sketchbook populated by original Inkling, Margin Mite, Paper Pal, and Doodlekin creatures.

Brand and gameplay assets remain original and will be produced only for this title.

Shareable hook

“Can one line stop every route?”

Creative must be captured from the real build—never a separate fake interaction.

Development roadmap

Archive ready · Apple account required

Studio priority 05. No public release date is announced.

  1. DONE

    Prove the drawing rules

Bounded raw input, simplification, anchors, keepout geometry, ink limits, point caps, exact route checks, and explicit failure reasons pass automated tests.

  2. DONE

    Build the release sketchbook

Sixty offline pages across five chapters, tutorial, album, Daily Doodle, best ink, settings, local saves, original brand, and store package are complete.

  3. DONE

    Validate native iOS

First-page interaction, screenshots, opaque icon, privacy manifest, arm64 compilation, development-signed archive, and physical iPhone install and launch have been verified.

  4. NOW

    Authorize App Store Connect

Sign in with the authorized Apple account, create distribution signing and the app record, upload build 1, complete paid-app agreements and questionnaires, and submit for review.

Why this fits the pipeline

Engineering plan

A pure C# geometry engine simplifies capped input, validates anchors and budgets, and resolves every route deterministically without rigidbody luck.

Risk control

All 60 pages pass 913 core assertions, bidirectional reference checks, deliberate failure validation, Unity smoke tests, native compilation, and physical-device launch.

Player value

Fair by design

Paid upfront with the complete 60-page sketchbook. No ads, tracking, accounts, analytics, in-app purchases, lives, or energy.

Production truth

Concept art is not a shipping promise.

Icon, screenshots, trailer, press kit, privacy page, and store metadata advance with the vertical slice. Unknown links and dates stay intentionally unpublished.

The studio promise

Ad-free fun, learning, and self-improvement.

This concept is being shaped around ad-free play, a clear learning or skill-building benefit, and progress that respects the player's time.
